To take a mother's child is to take her heart,

How can we have peace with all of the violence taking place?
Killing the innocent is our greatest sacrifice,
killing the world away will make us pay the price.
If history repeats itself, why don't we try to avoid it?
The world would have a better future if we would just listen to the victims,
the world would be a fine place if our superiors didn't care only for themselves.
How are we going to change if we don't face the facts?
Something's got to give,
someone's going to have to stand up.
